Hello
About me
Hi! I'm Beatriz, a biologist and researcher passionate about bat diversity, evolution, and conservation. My work explores the morphological and genetic variation of Neotropical bats, with a focus on taxonomy, systematics, and comparative anatomy. I’ve led extensive fieldwork and museum-based studies across Latin America, combining molecular and morphological data to better understand species boundaries, ecological adaptations, and evolutionary history. I'm especially interested in how anatomy reflects behavior, sensory biology, and ecology in bats.
